We were excited to support the launch of the City Cricket Academy Emirates at Dubai International Academy - an inspiring new initiative that brings world-class cricket training to the next generation of talent in the UAE.

Supported by the Indian Premier League and India’s women’s international vice-captain Smriti Mandhana, the academy offers an elite cricket development programme tailored for children. With a focus on nurturing young cricketing talent, this collaboration between sport and education reflects Dubai’s increasing emphasis on youth development, community wellbeing, and international sporting excellence.

Our Role: Branding & Collateral

To support the launch, we worked closely with the academy team to build on the existing brand identity in a way that could carry across both the DIA partnership and the cricket initiative. One of the standout elements was creating the logo - using a photo of Smriti Mandhana playing her signature shot as the basis for a custom vector illustration, making her quite literally part of the brand. From logo enhancements to colour palette guidance, our role ensured the City Cricket Academy felt right at home in its new Dubai setting while maintaining ties to its UK roots.

Our team designed and produced a range of launch-day collateral to create a premium, memorable experience. These included branded T-shirts worn by the team and attendees, custom water bottles and sunglasses as giveaways, event signage, photo backdrops, and branded assets to capture attention and social media moments. Every detail was tailored to reflect the excitement and professionalism of the academy’s vision.

We also created thoughtful welcome packs for new students joining the academy. These included branded materials that introduced families to the academy’s mission, the coaching team, the training schedule, and the core values of cricket. Designed to make a lasting first impression, the welcome packs ensured that both students and parents felt confident and excited from day one.
