The project deliverables included branding, photography styles that inspired confidence and reassurance without being too clichéd, app design and interlocking website design so that the app was available both on mobile devices and online. The website design team were also asked to develop icons that were intuitive and again, user-friendly, as well as supporting marketing collateral.
The result was a clean, simple, yet highly effective app that allows users to locate and contact doctors or medical professionals, and book appointments with just a few taps. With medical apps, it’s important to create a feeling of trustworthiness, and this is achieved by building icons, website design and branding that inspire user confidence. Formulate did this by utilising photography styles that avoided the ‘actor pretending to be a doctor’ look, and provided authentic, genuine, and reassuring images the user can relate to.
