Beyond Numbers: Designing Mashreq’s 2023 Annual Report

The Mashreq Integrated Annual Report for 2023 highlights the company's progress and includes a financial summary, statements from the board, and updates on activities, initiatives, and their forward-thinking approach to sustainability.

By incorporating vibrant and dynamic design elements such as graphics and infographics, the report is both practical and visually engaging.

The Process

We were tasked with creating a professional, modern, and visually engaging annual report design that integrates Mashreq’s brand photographic style, graphic assets, colour scheme, typography, and overall visual identity. The design needed to be coherent throughout the report, with all elements properly aligned and formatted to maintain consistency and brand recognition.

The Process

Based on thorough research and planning, we developed several concepts aligned with Mashreq’s brand guidelines and the theme of the report. These concepts were presented to stakeholders for feedback and approval. Once the final concept was selected and approved, and the content was provided, we began the design and layout of the report.

Throughout the process, we reviewed the design and content with stakeholders to gather feedback and make necessary adjustments. After finalising the design, professional proofreading was undertaken. The final product, a print-ready PDF, was delivered for digital or print distribution.
