


For a new firm like Metis, simply entering the market wasn’t enough. They needed a brand that would not only stand out in a saturated sector but also actively counteract these negative perceptions. The challenge was to build a brand that exuded trust, authority, and integrity, while communicating a clear point of difference: strategy over sales, and wisdom over quick wins.





We began by anchoring the brand story in its namesake, Metis, the Greek goddess of wisdom. This mythology provided a foundation of knowledge, foresight, and integrity, while also offering rich visual associations such as owls for wisdom and olive trees for prosperity.
The brand identity centred on a bold, abstract M icon, designed to resemble both a stable pillar and an upward graph, symbolising growth, structure, and security. The logo delivers simplicity and confidence, while subtly reinforcing the financial planning narrative.
Colour psychology played a key role. A green-led palette was chosen to represent balance, growth, prosperity, and trust, essential qualities in a sector where credibility must be earned. Secondary graphics drew inspiration from natural elements and financial motifs, ensuring consistency across touchpoints.
On the digital front, the website was designed to be clear, authoritative, and client-first. The tone of voice stripped away jargon and avoided hard-sell language, instead offering clarity, transparency, and a promise of UK-regulated standards. With carefully crafted brand messaging, including a clear vision, mission, and values, Metis positioned itself as the reset for wealth management in the region.
Brand collateral reinforced this positioning with consistency and professionalism. From guidelines and stationery to an advisory factsheet, every asset was designed to inspire confidence, embodying the ethos of “Wealth, Built with Wisdom.”
The result was a bold and confident brand that differentiated Metis in a crowded UAE market. By fusing modern design with timeless associations of wisdom and integrity, the identity speaks directly to British expatriates seeking clarity and security in their financial affairs.
